As a self-taught artist, I find inspirations in the beauty of nature and the rich tapestry of myths and legends. Growing up on a tiny farm with goats, horses, and the like, i had limited opportunities to make friends out side of school, so i turned to art for solace and entertainment. Without access to the internet until recently ,  I immersed myself in books, and the natural world, creating a foundation for my artistic journey.

My art is a reflection of my life's experiences and the emotions that accompany them. When i was young, my grandmother's passing and the struggles of seeing my parents as the worked to provide a good education and life for me, along with being the youngest by seven years, led me to seek as escape through art. The stories and imagery from high fantasy books, folk tales, and history inspired me to express my feelings and experiences through my creations.

My process begins with a simple sketch on my iPad, a tool that allows me to work efficiently and converse resources. As a person with a rare eye disorder called subluxation of the lenses, I rely on technology to ease the burden of my condition. The disorder causes my natural lenses to float around, leading to blurred vision or "grey-spots" in my vision. The condition, combined with sever astigmatism, makes my visions challenging to manage. My eyesight is 20/80 without glasses at best, and must avoid activities that could lead to the detachments of my lenses and potentially lead to blindness.

Despite these challenges, I embrace mixed media, included alcohol markers, charcoal pencils, ink and gel pens, and occasionally, oil and acrylic paints. My art is an eclectic blend of influences, from the bold and intricate style of Art Nouveau to the vivid realism of Japanese comics and the emotive brush stokes of the favorite artist Vincent van Gogh.

My inspiration comes from high fantasy literature, Celtic and Druid traditions, and the mystic allure of the dark ages. As a Celtic/Druid pagan, i hold a deep reverence for the natural world and its mystical elements. I believe in the enchantment of fairies and the stories of the "wee ones" and the "fae" which manifests as dragonflies, butterflies and even spiders. These stories remind me of the complexities of human nature, where good and bad coexist, much like the personas of the fairies.

Through my art, i aim to explore and express the longing and stories that we all carry within us. I want my work to inspire others to delve into their true selves and recognize the essential stories in their lives. My art is a celebration of our quests for identity and inherent beauty of our unique journeys.

Although I'm introverted, I am committed to sharing my art with the world and engaging with my community. I connect with the audience through Instagram and Facebook, where I share my work and try to interact with fellow artists and art enthusiasts. My goal is to open up more about my art and its significance, fostering a deeper connection with my audiences.

Thank you for allowing me to share my story. If you have any questions, comments, or if you'd like to discuss a commission, whether it's a drawing, a portrait, or a custom metal piece, please don't hesitate to reach out. Lets work together and being your vision to life.
